About

For over thirty years I have been immersed in the search for meaning and the study of transformation—how people grow, how systems evolve, and how consciousness expresses itself through both.
That inquiry has taken the form of rigorous scholarship, heartfelt service, and daily spiritual practice. As a Certified Teacher of Transcendental Meditation, I have personally taught the technique to 1,100+ individuals; together with my wife, Mina, we have worked with 2,100+ people seeking the benefits of TM. Since 2013 we have co-directed the Cambridge & Metropolitan Boston TM Programme. I also serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Maharishi International University, guiding students across the landscape of human potential.
My doctoral research examined mystical experiences among Freemasons, illuminating the subtle interplay between personal awakening and sacred tradition. Today my work integrates History, Sociology, Neuroscience, Symbolism, and Consciousness Studies in service of individual and collective evolution. Through my various roles and affiliations, I have worked to uphold and transmit esoteric traditions while helping others bridge ancient wisdom and modern life.
Serat Group Inc. serves as the strategic and executive branch of my work—a consciousness-based strategy and design firm that acts as the parent company for several mission-aligned initiatives, including Transcendental Brain—its forward-facing platform for executive coaching, applied neuroscience, and human potential development. Together they form a bridge between inner transformation and outer leadership: translating deep knowledge into practical tools for individuals and organisations navigating complexity with clarity and calm.
Radical Scholar Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, anchors the research and educational mission: investigating the intersection of science, spirituality, and strategy to foster awakened leadership, coherent communities, and sustainable systems that honour the evolution of human potential.
Together, these entities reflect a unified vision: that the transformation of consciousness is both the means and the measure of human progress.
Recently I founded What the World Needs Now: International Meditation Hour—a quarterly, cross-cultural hour of knowledge, silence, and shared reflection. The inaugural gathering welcomed registrants from Australia, Russia, South Africa, France, and across the United States, with strong engagement on the Facebook replay. IMH is a simple invitation: create a field of calm that steadies minds and strengthens communities.
If this resonates, you are welcome to join the next IMH, subscribe to On Transcendence, explore TM instruction, or consider executive coaching through Transcendental Brain.
